Faster cornering, longer lasting and more consistent, proxes r888r translates power into lap times.

The r888 will heat cycle where the r1r won't. Impressively, given the relatively mild ambient and track temperature, all three tires consistently generated 1.3g or more in the corners, with the. 335/30/18r, 305/30/18f on deity 18x12.5r, 18x11f.

With enhanced steering feel and response, combined with higher stabilty on the throttle, proxes r888r allows track users to carry higher speed through corners for faster laps. I find it to be a nice tire for both the street and the occasional track day or autocross. Also, i used simpletire for the toyos.

In 2017 experts of the german magazine auto bild have tested the toyo r888 r at size 235/35 r19 and compared with 4 similar trackday tires. Toyo was 4.4km/h slower, than the leader.
